Paul McShane Breaks Into A Spanish Villa And Pretends To Be Sergio Ramos | BenchWarmers

Irish footballer Paul McShane has broken into a villa in Ibiza and pretended to be Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.

McShane, who is not Spanish, has broken into a luxury villa on the island of Ibiza and recorded himself in a fake champions League pre-match line-out with some friends.

The footage has angered football fans across Europe because McShane is arguably one of the poorest defenders to have played in the Premier League and the thought of him in the Champions League was too much for some people.

McShane is currently without a club and so he hatched a clever plan to impersonate Real Madrid and Spanish defender, Sergio Ramos, by growing a beard and wearing designer sunglasses in a bid to get regular European football.

Authorities have alerted both Ramos and Real Madrid to the situation and all necessary precautions are being taken to prevent McShane from reaching the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid later issued a press release which stated: “We have notified Sergio of the situation and he and his family are safe. We do not condone the action of Mr. McShane and hope to never see something like this happen again. We believe that he would not have been successful because do you honestly think a pale, ginger Irishman who plays like a horse on an exercise ball would have gone unnoticed?”

McShane is believed to still be in Ibiza and authorities are pleading with the public to not approach him as he may be drunk and definitely sunburned.
